Minos

Part of project: Miscellaneous .

A cylindrical maze orbiting a binary star, built as an experiment in cylindrical gravity.

Minos is a gigantic cylindrical structure designed as an experiment in cylindrical gravity.

The interior surface of the cylinder forms a maze that can be explored on foot. Unlike a conventional world, gravity on Minos is applied cylindrically, allowing visitors to walk along the inside of the curved structure.

At the center of the maze stand three tall towers — Green, Red, and Blue — each with two levels. Three smaller secondary towers — Cyan, Yellow, and Purple — are also distributed throughout the maze and have a single level.

Only the second level of the three main towers extends into a flyable zone, creating a transition between the walking areas and open space.

The Minos cylinder orbits a binary star system in a distant nebula.
